According to ACF, schools included in the rankings not only have clear and active Christian affiliations, but they've proven their excellence in online education.

"The faith-based colleges on our list are making online learning a clear priority," said Dan Schuessler, founder and CEO of Affordable Colleges Foundation. "Each of these Christian colleges incorporates innovative technologies to help students pursue their higher education, while providing a strong connection to spirituality."

According to the Department of Education, more than 900 faith-based institutions have received regional or national accreditation, meaning Christ-centered students have an abundance of high-quality choices when it comes to pursuing their higher education.

"Hundreds of Christian institutions can be found throughout the United States. There's definitely history there," said Schuessler. "We're excited to highlight the ones expanding their programs to include hybrid or fully-online options."
