How to Navigate Difficult Parent/Guardian Conversations: What College forgot to teach teachers about Parent/Guardian interactions.

Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM (EDT)

Unfortunately, college can't provide students with the opportunity to learn how to deal with a difficult parent/guardian.  This interactive online workshop is designed to help teachers navigate through those difficult phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.  This workshop will give examples of techniques and models that can be implemented immediately into your classroom professional practice.  How a teacher approaches each individual situation will dictate the outcome.  You will be able to enter the room with confidence knowing you are prepared to meet this challenge in a professional manner.  As educators we must always remember that we must put the students first - it is not always important to win the fight to end the war.
