These promising technologies will change the way we deliver learning and empower us with the data and analytics needed to increase the consumption and efficiency of learning within the law firm.

Learning About the Learner
Many firms already realize the benefits of clouddriven services for deliverability, scalability and lower software, infrastructure and support costs. But how can these software as a service (SaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) models influence the future of learning?

Cloud solutions that provide seamless integration for single sign-on (SSO) and identity and access management (IAM) are already having a positive effect on learner engagement. Businesses find them attractive for lowering user profile management and administration costs, while end users are intrigued with innovative ways to authenticate into mobile devices, laptops and applications using facial, fingerprint and voice recognition. As these technologies continue to evolve, they literally place learning at our fingertips,
reducing barriers to obtaining the information we need.

Firms might also examine the use of an email service provider (ESP) to transmit large volumes of learning-related information without affecting the firm’s email and network infrastructure. Such services already help firms manage IPs and mail authentication
