Kids Learn to Play Tool in Music Class | A Journal of Musical Things

Published on September 12th, 2017 | by Alan Cross
[Although I’m a big supported in music education in schools, a lot of the curriculum can be kinda boring and irrelevant to today’s kids. Not in this case reported by intern Dorothy Lee. – AC]

Kids Cover 46 and 2 by Tool / O'Keefe Music Foundation

If you’ve dreamed of being a professional musician since you were a child, you’ll wish there was a place like O’Keefe Music Foundation when you were growing up. Through donations, the foundation provides high-quality instruments, professional recording equipment and support from industry professionals in order to enable children to record their musical performances at no cost and to share their performances globally. The experience educates young musicians about music production, performance, audio engineering, and the value of team work through networking and performing with other young musicians.

C’mon. Learning to play Tool’s “46 & 2?” How cool is that?
