Stella Barkalow who was at the book signing with her husband got a few books for her grandkids.

“They’re readers, so they will enjoy reading it,” she said.

Andy Heck, owner of Alpin Haus, bought and donated approximately 250 of the “It All Matters” books to the Amsterdam High School for high school seniors and teachers.

Cummings said schools all over the country are starting to use his book for workshops in their classrooms.

“Our teachers need resources and we believe we can get this book in high school senior’s hands as they go out into the world and learn how to set goals that we think is going to set them up for success,” Cummings said.

Cummings also owns a company called Paul Cummings World Wide Enterprises. The company has three locations in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Liberty, Missouri; and Sydney, Australia.

“We teach high-end executive leadership retreats, personal development programs and help companies establish their mission, their vision, their values, their service standards,” Cummings said.

He said for 34 years the company has had over a million people in their classes and that is how he met Heck.

Heck was a client of Cummings, and had Heck and about 160 leaders of the Alpin Haus company at the retreat campus in Wildwood, Georgia. They did a three and a half day program for the leaders of the company. Heck said Alpin Haus has been working with Cummings since the early 2000s.

“I think [‘It All Matters’] is one of the best books on goal setting workshops,” Heck said.
