Following Google, Ask.com to include video clips and other multimedia items in some search results
In a notable shift in web-search technology, Ask.comis unveiling a three-panel interface that can contain links to video clips, news, blog entries, and other forms of multimedia on its main search results page. The move follows Google's announcement late last month that it would combine video clips, news, and book results from its vast database on its own main results page.
