maths online is a project based at the University of Vienna, Austria, and is running since March 1998. Its goal is the construction of a modern mathematics learning site on the web.maths online tries to take into account this situation when realizing modern didactic concepts by interactive multimedia techniques. The goal is to contribute to the development of adequate standards for up to date maths education in school, highschool, college, university, and adults' qualification.
The design of maths online with respect to contents and didactical approach is carried out by Franz Embacher and Petra Oberhuemer.
