Notre Dame College in South Euclid offers eLearning course for educators

Jeff Piorkowski, Sun News writes, "Notre Dame College, 4545 College Road, and 21st Learning Solutions will offer "Technology Driven Classrooms: Engineering the iGeneration," an eight-week, online, graduate-level, extensively research-based course."


In this course for educators, the characteristics of today's iGeneration will be presented along with the proven technological strategies that can reach these 21st Century learners. Topics will include tablets and other mobile devices as teaching and learning tools, app-based learning, blended learning, flipped classrooms, online learning, digital textbooks, and many other related topics.

The first 500 participants who enroll in this course for professional development may do so for free. Those wanting graduate credit can enroll for three graduate credits from Notre Dame College's Center for Professional Development for a fee of $398. Four separate start dates will be offered: Jan. 24, Jan. 31, Feb. 7 and Feb. 14, 2013.
