On April 20, the second lecture will be given at 11 a.m. in the Fusco Recital Hall. That lecture’s topic will be “Cognitive Empathy and Human Conflict: Saving the World with One Not-So-Simple Trick.” It will explore insights psychology can bring to bear on international relations and foreign policy.
Wright’s previous book, “The Evolution of God,” was a New York Times bestseller and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. In 2009, Wright was named by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the top 100 global thinkers.
