Steinway debuts interactive iPad app for learning piano and buying music by Lawrence Budmen

Steinway & Sons has debuted version 2.0 of the Etude app for the Apple iPad. This upgraded version of Etude is interactive with new ways to display music on screen, new playback modes and an in-house music store for purchase and downloading of sheet music.

“Etude transforms how any level of piano player can use digital sheet music for practice, learning and fun,” said Dan Grover, creator of Etude and Steinway’s director of music technology, in a released statement.
