Among the sessions taking place between June 19 and June 25, residents can trace their family history, get to grips with gadgets, learn more about IT and try T’ai Chi.
Cllr Heather Goddard, the council’s executive member for communities and tourism, said: “We are very excited to be part of the Festival of Learning this year by showcasing some of the educational services South Gloucestershire libraries have to offer.
“Adult learning is an important part of what libraries do and we look forward to opening our doors to anyone who is interested in taking part and helping them to kick-start their learning journey.”

Cadbury Heath Library, Monday, June 19, 1pm to 4pm
Thornbury Library, Monday June 19, 9.30am to 12.30pm
Winterbourne Library, Friday June 23, 10am to 11am
Hanham Library, Friday June 23, 12pm to 2pm
Patchway Library, Saturday, June 24, 10am to 11am
Staple Hill Library, Saturday, June 24, 10am to 11am and 2pm to 3pm
Emersons Green Library, Saturday, June 24, 11am to 3.30pm.
