650 local teachers have come together to attend this year's Lafayette Regional eLearning Conference. The theme for this year's conference is Ignite, Create, Collaborate and Celebrate.

“This is our seventh year for an eLearning Conference and we are given a grant to really make this is the kind of conference that would typically only be offered at the state level,” said Rita Shultz, conference coordinator...

This two-day conference focuses on everything from learning new mobile apps to empowering students to think creatively. These teachers plan to take all they've learned back to their classrooms this fall.
