Newly designed portal provides valuable resources for e-learning developers.
Articulate, the global leader in rapid e-learning software has launched E- Learning Heroes - an online source of e-learning resources and community-driven support for anyone interested in improving their e-learning skills.
The site is available at http://community.articulate.com and registration is free.
This philosophy of openness and collaboration is an extension of Articulate's ongoing success with community-focused initiatives, such as Tom Kuhlman's wildly successful Rapid E-Learning Blog (which now has over 71,000 subscribers), the Articulate Word of Mouth Blog, and the former Articulate Community Forums, whose 200,000 members are transitioning over to the new E-Learning Heroes forums.
Kuhlmann concludes, "E-Learning Heroes is all about empowered e-learning. We're hopeful that our community members enjoy and benefit from the newly designed site. We're also looking forward to crowning some new Articulate Superheroes (users who receive special designation because of their helpfulness and willingness to support the community) along the way."
Members can also access an extensive library of screencast tutorials (created using Articulate's free screencasting tool - Screenr - available at http://screenr.com), as well as hundreds of downloadable course assets such as templates, job aids, icons, images, and more. Articulate contributed assets, provided in the download section, can be used by members in their e-learning projects without restriction and free of charge.
