Discovery Offers Free Professional Development Webinar

Discovery Educator Network (DEN), Discovery Education's online learning community, will be offering SCIcon 2011, a free virtual classroom to help educators integrate digital content and new technologies into science instruction.
The event is interactive, allowing participants to learn the technologies in a hands-on manner, which in turn will enable them to implement their new tools and skills immediately in their own classrooms.

"Through this unique professional development event," said a spokesperson, "Discovery Education will demonstrate how teachers can create unique digital environments that put students at the center of science education."
