The $3 million flexible learning classroom offers students easier access to online learning through the use of a purchased, leased or school-owned tablet, netbook or laptop computer.

The room comes with wireless internet, interactive whiteboards and scope for animation, podcasting, filmmaking and an interactive TV for group editing.

Cyber safety will also be a major component of the digital curriculum.
The classroom was funded by the Victorian Government and is part of its “Transforming Learning through Innovation” initiative.

It was designed by Peter Maddison of Maddison Architects and constructed by Kensington-based Contract Control Services.
