From township to actuarial science student, meet Khanyisa Dyonashe | Buzz - Briefly.co.za

A teen, 17-year-old Khanyisa Dyonashe, is studying towards a degree in actuarial science. However, Dyonashe had to overcome several challenges to get where she is today by Maryn Blignaut, Briefly.co.za.
 

Khanyisa Dyonashe, who comes from a disadvantaged background, has enrolled to study actuarial science at the University of Cape Town (UCT)

Khanyisa Dyonashe is an inspirational young woman for more than one reason - despite growing up disadvantaged, she's studying an extremely difficult field at UCT. 

The 17-year-old grew up in Mdantsane, a township outside of East London, and she attended one of the country's notoriously underresourced schools, Good Things Guy reported...

Because of her exceptional marks, Dyonashe was accepted to study actuarial science at UCT - which is particularly difficult to get into.
