The robot will first release a music album and go on tour | Science - The KXAN 36 News

However, it seems that even the latter is not protected from automation.
Tthe four-armed robotic musician Shimon (Shimon), whom the world saw for the first time in 2017, learned to sing, move to music, write lyrics and compose their own tunes. Moreover, he even goes on tour to present their first album.

Three years ago, Simon began playing the drum musical instrument — marimba. He was improvising, composing simple melodies and learning to control the “hands”. Below shows his progress during training and the first musical composition:
Shimon learns his craft as well as other robots, obtaining and analysing large amounts of data. The scientists “fed” to the robot 50 thousand lyrics in the styles of jazz, progressive rock and hip-hop...

A Team of engineers from the University of Pompeu Fabra in Spain have developed for Shimon’s unique voice. For this they used their own machine learning algorithms and hundreds of available songs.
