Troy Ashby of Goldens Bridge, NY, graduated earlier this year with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Health Services Management and was hired in mid-July in the position of Onboarding Specialist at Mount Sinai Hospital, one of the oldest and most respected teaching hospitals in the United States, in Manhattan, NY. Amanda Smith of White Plains, NY, graduated in June of 2014. Ms. Smith was hired as Production Coordinator by Jones New York group, a well-known ready-to-wear fashion line sold at major retailers. Kristen Harnish of South River, NJ, graduated in September of 2014, and was hired as Regional Consumer Sales Coordinator during her internship at Gannett Publishing, an award winning news organization and media company in Neptune, NJ, and was promoted within one year to the position of Sales Specialist.

"Organizations and businesses value students and graduates who have completed online courses because they know these candidates have good time management, written, and project management skills," said Carol Smith, PhD, Assistant Provost, Online.
The experience, resources and leadership opportunities available at Berkeley College are as comprehensive online as they are for a student who is attending courses on site. Online campus life experiences include online clubs, social media engagement, wellness and personal development programs, and workshops focusing on student success. All of the student support services such as Academic Advisement, Library, Academic Support Center, and Career Services are available to online students as well as to students on site. Berkeley College Online students are also welcome to apply for the Berkeley College Honors Program.

"Our population is very diverse," said Sharon Goldstein, Campus Operating Officer, Berkeley College Online. "Berkeley College Online students include working parents, grandparents, young adults managing work and studies, and men and women actively serving in the military."

For the second consecutive year U.S. News & World Report named Berkeley College one of the Best Colleges for Online Bachelor's Degrees, and Best Online Programs for Veterans. Berkeley College Online has received Quality Standards (QS) certification for excellence from the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) and was one of the first colleges or universities worldwide to receive this certification.
