The National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) has invited
applications for admissions to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme
in Mathematics for the academic year 2016-17. The entrance exam is
scheduled to be held on January 23, 2016. The eligible candidates should
apply in the prescribed format latest by December 7.
Educational qualification:
The candidates applying for the programme should possess a Bachelor of Science (B.S)/ Master of Arts (M.A) or Master of Science (M.Sc) degree from a recognised university or institute.
Selection procedure:
The selection will be made on the basis of a written test and interview. The exam will be held for a duration of two hours and 30 minutes.
