Blended Learning: The Future of the Executive Education

Described as “blended learning” by Wai Kwen Chan in a recent FT article, Chan highlights some of the existing combinations offered by leading business schools, such as the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Ashridge and Duke Corporate Education.

The trends and changes in blended learning not only relate to teaching and learning methods, but to content as well. Steve Mahaley of Duke says that Twitter can be used to share insights and data. "Mobile devices can be used with a Flickr account to upload photos from local sites that help all learners understand more about the business context from different geographies," he adds.
