Blended learning course among UW-Green Bay winter/spring educator offerings

Online learning, the classroom of tomorrow and student drug and alcohol abuse are just a few of the topics educators can explore as UW-Green Bay Education Outreach presents its Winter/Spring 2012 Offerings for Educators.

This diverse array of courses allows teachers, administrators and other professionals to earn undergraduate or graduate credits while enhancing their knowledge of today’s trends and issues in education. Noncredit options also are available for each course.

Highlights for Winter/Spring 2012 include Designing the 21st Century Classroom and Drug Impairment Training for Education Professionals, a Sturgeon Bay-based workshop offering that involves identifying and addressing drug and alcohol issues in the school environment. Other courses of note include An Introduction to Problem Based Learning, which is a blended learning option involving part face-to-face and part online instruction.

Detailed course information is available at www.uwgb.edu/educationoutreach, including cost information, syllabi and registration information.
