This awesome infographic is all about how important it is to invest in the education and health of women around the world.
The statistics shown are nothing short of shocking. Did you know, for example, that:

• 1 in 5 girls in developing countries never finish primary school
• 1 in 7 girls in developing countries marry before they are 15 years old
• 52% of people living with HIV are women Women make up
• 43% of the agriculture labor force
• Women make up only 18.9% of the world’s legislatures

However, did you also know that:

• When 10% more girls finish school, a countries GDP increases by 3%
• When girls go to school longer they marry later and have fewer children
• Treatments to prevent mother to child transmission of HIV is 96% effective
• When women have the same amount as land as men there is a 10% increase in crop yields
• When women make up 30% or more of legislature the government is more inclusive and democratic.

I never knew about all these great statistics, but this infographic makes it easy to see what a great impact education and healthcare has on the women of the world and why it is so important. Can you imagine a world where all these improvements were made?
